Mini Quad Fun

We put the Virhuck Volar up against some other tiny drones. They may be small, but they are a lot of fun. Check it out.

Virhuck Volar 360

The Virhuck Volar 360 Nano Drone might sound like a mouthful, but it is a fun little micro drone that you can pick up for less than $20. This tiny quadcopter looks a lot like the popular Cheerson CX-10 but comes with a few nice additional features.

Volar 360 Features

The best part about the Volar 360 is that it is small enough to store directly inside the remote controller. That means you can take the tiny drone with you and not worry about damaging a propeller during transport.

The Volar 360 also features headless mode to help with orientation, comes with a propeller guard and features push button flips. Flipping with the push of a button is a fun trick and a great way to show off for the kids. It also has a return home button, but we don’t recommend using them with drones that do not have GPS. Bad things are known to happen.

Volar 360
The Virhuck Volar is a little bigger than a quarter.

There are three different speeds or modes on the Volar 360. In the highest mode, the Volar can spin like a top. With the glowing LEDs these spins can only be described as “disco mode.” This little guy is a lot of fun.

Volar Design

The design of the Volar 360 is also a little different. It looks a little like a small tree frog, reminding us of another fun drone, the Q90 Frog. This could be the Q90’s long lost little brother. My children fell in love with this little guy. I’m not sure how many times I heard it was “cute.”

The Volar 360 is a no-frills beginner drone. There isn’t a camera or advanced options like the optical flow or FPV like that of the tiny Cheerson CX-OF. But what it does, it does well.

Should you get the Volar 360?

If you are looking for a small, portable and inexpensive drone then the Virhuck Volar 360 Nano drone is a solid option. You can pick up a Volar 360 in blue, green, yellow or orange.
