The Simtoo XT175 Fairy Drone is a small foldable brushless drone. It carries an 8 MP camera and has a slew of excellent features. This small drone features both GPS and GLONASS for excellent stability. This drone looks like a heck of a deal under $150.
The Simtoo Fairy Drone is a solid brushless quad. The Fairy Drone also features automatic takeoff, return to home, follow me and even waypoint features. In addition to the dual GPS system, it utilizes altitude hold so you will still have a stable drone if you are flying indoors.
The video will stream to your smartphone via an app and connects using WiFi. You can also control the drone using either the included compact controller or using your smartphone. We recommend using the remote to control and the smartphone to view the FPV video feed.
The Fairy Drone has a range of up to 150 meters, but you will likely lose the video feed around 50 meters or so. In perfect conditions, you could get up to 16 minutes of flight time, but realistically expect to get 10-12. It will take about 2 hours to fully charge the battery.
The Simtoo XT175 Camera
The camera on the Simtoo XT175 Fairy Drone is better than most drones in this price range. It will shoot 1080p HD video and take 8 MP still photographs. Unfortunately, it does not feature electronic image stabilization so you will have to fly nice and steady to get good aerial footage. The camera angle is adjustable.

Should You Get a Fairy Drone?
If you are looking for a small, portable brushless drone then the Fairy Drone is definitely a solid option. Jay Drone of Drone Days loves this quad and he’s one of the few people I know that have flown more drones than I have. Personally, I’m partial to the Tello or the Dobby. Both are excellent options as well.

What Is the BEST Drone?
