The QX90 was one of the best small brushed micro FPV quadcopters you could buy when it came out. Then they released the even lighter QX90C and you could eek out even better performance. Both of these quads, however, had their flaws and limitations. Eachine has addressed those flaws and has released the impressive little QX90C PRO. This is one brushed FPV quad that I really enjoy flying.

Eachine QX90
The original Eachine QX90 was a good brushed micro FPV quadcopter, but had its limitations.

What is the QX90C Pro?

Eachine QX90C PRO
The QX90C Pro is a solid upgrade over the original QX90 and QX()C

Like the brushed FPV quads that came before it, the QX90C Pro is a simple little machine. It is a lightweight plastic frame carrying an F3 flight controller and a 25 mW FPV camera. However, there are some small but important upgrades when we look at the QX90C Pro.

What makes the QX90C Pro Better?

Take a look at the QX90C Pro from above.

For starters, the QX90C Pro has the 8520 Black Edition motors. These are more powerful than your standard 8 mm motors found on the original two models. It is light, checking in at 50.5 grams with a battery, so you will get even better performance from this machine. The camera is slightly upgraded but unlike the earlier models has an adjustable angle.

The propellers are the more powerful LadyBird style. If you want to fly indoors or want extra protection we’d recommend picking up a propeller guard. You’ll also get an on-screen display (OSD) and an onboard beeper. These small but important difference make this a much more capable and practical quadcopter. This is what we were asking for a year ago from Eachine. Better late than never I guess.

Should You Get a QX90C Pro?

We fly our QX90C Pro with the Taranis QX7.

If you are looking for a small inexpensive micro FPV drone then you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better option for the money. Yes, it does have brushed motors, and they have their own limitations but the QX90C Pro is an awful lot of fun to fly. We’d suggest picking one up to rip around your backyard. You can pick one up with extra batteries or add a few extras yourself. You won’t want to quit after one.
