Emax Transporter 2 HD FPV Goggles | Inexpensive HDZero Goggles

The new Emax Transporter 2 HD goggles are an interesting option if you are looking to fly HDZero quads and you don’t want to break the bank. These goggles cost $240 and work both as FPV goggles and as an FPV monitor.

In general, I’m not a huge fan of box-style goggles. They are bulky and they never seem to fit my face right. These Transporter 2 goggles are no exception. I do not like how they fit my face. However, they don’t have to. Because they detach and work as a monitor they are still 100% useable for me. They will mount right on the Emax E8 radio transmitter and with a little work, they’ll slot right onto my Radiomaster Boxer as well.

The screen on the Transporter 2 is nice and bright and the DVR is set to automatically record. That is how I like it. You can of course adjust both of these in the menus. The Transporter 2 HDZero is an excellent low-cost alternative to the high-priced HDZero goggle options out there, especially if you are just getting started.

Now if you already have a set of analog goggles with an HDMI in then I would probably opt for the HDZero module rather than these goggles. It is a little cheaper and I like the fit of my Skyzone goggles more than the Transporter 2. Having an extra monitor around however makes these a really solid option as well.
