ZLL SG100 The Drone that looks like a plane

The ZLL SG100 Plus Two looks impressive. It appears to be a fighter jet with four brushless motors. One might think it is this would be a VTOL, but the lack of tilting motors mean that it is a drone disguised as a plane. It can’t glide like a plane. The fixed motor design, coupled with its styrofoam construction, proves to be a drawback as it makes the drone susceptible to wind interference, affecting its overall stability during flight.

ZLL SG100 Plus 2

While the drone boasts a camera with a pivoting mechanism and an additional optical flow camera, however the quality of the video is quite poor. The narrow field of view and jittery output from the camera, exacerbated by the drone’s wind-catching design, diminishes its usability.

This drone is a lot of fun to fly, however it can be difficult for a beginner. The basic remote control includes speed buttons, mode switches for flips and rotations, and camera tilt controls. However, the challenging flight characteristics, exacerbated by wind-related issues, may pose difficulties for novice users.

The ZLL SG100 Plus 2 will provide approximately 15 minutes of flight time, and a range of about 150 meters. The drone looks cool and can be fun to fly, but the shape catches the wind and can make it a challenge to fly for a beginner.

In conclusion, while the ZLL SG100 Plus 2 stands out for its visually appealing design and fun features, its limitations in flight performance, camera quality, and wind susceptibility make it more suitable for experienced drone enthusiasts rather than those new to the hobby.
