Meteor 75 Pro HD

The Meteor75 Pro is not your typically tiny whoop quad. Most tiny whoops come in two flavors. They are either 65mm or 75mm versions. Almost all of them have 0802 motors of varying kv and a handful have the smaller 0702 brushless motors. The 65mm quads push 31 mm props and the 75 mm versions have 40 mm propellers. They are all a blast to fly.

The BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro with Walksnail HD is an excellent little drone.

They do well indoors and some of them fly passably outdoors. The Meteor75 Pro is quite different. It has an 80.8mm frame, powerful 1102 motors, and bigger 45 mm propellers. There are two versions of this tiny pro whoop. A standard analog version is just over $100 and the HD version that is just over $200. The analog version is fantastic, but HD clarity takes this quad to a whole new level.

These changes make the Meteor75 Pro HD more powerful and more efficient than nearly all the other tiny whoops on the market. While it is bigger and more powerful, it only weighs 35-36 grams depending on which HD version you choose. It is still incredibly agile and is an excellent indoor flyer. Beginners might find it a bit powerful but adding a throttle cut makes it quite manageable. Check out the video below to add a throttle cut to your radio. The video will show how to set it up on any radio running EdgeTX or OpenTX.betafpv meteor 75 pro hd walksnail

However, this little quad is one of the better acro whoops I have ever flown. It is absolutely the best 80 mm 1S acro whoop you can buy. Its larger 45 mm propellers on the 1102 22,000kv motors are smooth and powerful and allow this little beast to fly quite well outside. There are not a lot of whoops that can do what this little drone can do.

The Meteor75 Pro comes with an ELRS receiver built in but doesn’t rely on SPI but is connected via a UART and can be flashed using the ELRS configurator. There are three versions. There is a $120 analog version that comes with a variable VTX that can go from 25 to 400 mw. There are also HDZero and Walksnail versions. The HD versions will a 5-6 grams and about $100 to the price tag. This little quad is an excellent little quad and if you want something you can fly indoors as well as outside this is a great one to pick up. If you do get the Walksnail version you’ll need either Walksnail goggles or the VRX.
