LYZRC L300 Ultra

DJI Air 4S for $100? Meet the LYZRC L300 (AKA AC Drone)

The drone market in 2025 has taken a wild and entertaining turn—and at the center of it is what might be the most absurd clone we’ve tested yet. It looks like a DJI Air 3S. It pretends to be a next-gen DJI Air 4S. But in reality, it’s the LYZRC L300—a $100 drone loaded with fake features, bold claims, and surprisingly stable flight.

We recently got our hands on the LYZRC L300, a drone labeled on the body as “AC Drone” but sold online as the LYZRC L300. This bizarre rebranding and design mimicry make it look like DJI’s secret prototype—only with a lot more plastic and a lot less performance.

A “Flagship” Drone for Just $100?

Let’s start with the price: the LYZRC L300 sells for just $99, or $125 if you spring for the version with “obstacle avoidance.” But before you get too excited, we should clarify: most of those advertised features are completely fake.

Obstacle sensors on the front, rear, and bottom? Just for show. Dual-camera system? Only one camera works, and the other is decorative. There’s even a fake SD card slot that can swallow your microSD card permanently. It’s a masterclass in illusion. I sadly fell for the SD card slot and now it’s stuck.

Surprisingly Decent Remote, Dubious Video

One unexpectedly decent feature on the LYZRC L300 is the remote controller. It includes a built-in touchscreen, which lets you fly without a smartphone. That’s genuinely convenient—especially for beginners.

Video quality? Don’t expect cinematic excellence. The top camera records in something closer to VHS quality, while the bottom camera barely hits 480p. You’ll capture footage that looks straight out of 1985, and most of the time, you won’t be saving video at all—just photos. The camera was consistently inconsistent. Being able to view the video on the screen is great. The picture on the screen howerer isn’t great…

Glorious Nonsense Marketing

The true highlight of the LYZRC L300 experience is the absolutely bonkers marketing. Think “disconnecting leads to a better visual effect” and “hardcore inner selfachievement imagination.”

The specs page boasts “50x zoom,” “night vision,” and “flagship highdefin imaging.” But none of it holds up. Zoom is digital and useless. Night vision? Not even close. Still, the drone is worth it for the marketing language alone.

Should You Buy It?

If you’re looking for a drone to shoot professional real estate videos, the LYZRC L300 isn’t the right tool. But if you want a fun, stable flyer to learn how to fly, it’s actually kind of perfect. It flies better than expected, and for $100, it’s equal parts comedy and functionality.

Final Thoughts

If you’re curious about how far drone clones have come—or how far they’ve fallen—the LYZRC L300 is a surprisingly entertaining buy. It’s a great conversation starter, a quirky gift, and a beginner-friendly flyer with just enough tech to keep things interesting.
