iFlight TurboBee 77R – Power loop the heck out of this thing…

The iFlight TurboBee 77R is a ducted 77 mm quad with some serious power. No longer are we calling these Tiny Whoops as that name doesn’t seem appropriate for the powerful brushless motors and ESCs that manufacturers are putting in these quads. This is a fun power whoop that can handle a 2S, 3S or 4S lipo. Yes, that’s right a 4S battery on this tiny quad.

The iFlight TurboBee 77R

The iFlight TurboBee 77R has some serious power to boot. I wouldn’t recommend flying this little quad indoors as it is a little too heavy and powerful. It tips the scales at 55 grams before you add a battery. It is using a SucceX F4 flight controller and their all-in-one 12 amp ESC. On board is the Caddx E0s2 camera and the VTX is switchable from 25 to 200 mw. It ships with Gemfan 1635 tri-blade propellers and they are protected by 40 mm ducts. The power comes from 1103 10,000 kv brushless motors.

The iFlight 77R is well built and has a nice look to it. It is very similar to iFlight’s most popular drone the Cinebee. The major difference is that the TurboBee 77R doesn’t have a Caddx Turtle for HD recording but rather the Caddx Eos2 for FPV. The iFlight TurboBee 77R is a much better drone for flying acro or hitting some race gates.

Should you get The iFlight TurboBee 77R?

If you want a small and compact drone that has some serious punch then the iFlight TurboBee 77R is something you should look into. It won’t be suited for indoor flight like the Tinyhawk S but can do a lot more in terms of power and performance.
