Eachine EV900 FPV Goggles

The Eachine EV900 goggles might just have the best picture quality we have ever seen in a pair of goggles, especially under $200. However, I’m not so sure I’d recommend them. Keep reading to find out why.

Unfortunately, the fit of these EV900 goggles is poor.

The picture on these goggles is super crisp. They are capable of producing a 1080p picture @120 Hz refresh rate. No, your FPV quad isn’t putting out that type of signal, but these goggles can accept an input via the mini-HDMI port on the side. They have a nice wide field of view at 80 degrees on the 5″ screen. There is a 48 channel receiver and 5.8 GHz receiver. It does utilize true diversity antennas and you can actually switch between them or let the goggles choose the best signal. Unfortunately, there isn’t a built-in DVR, but there is an AV input that you could add or you could use the HDMI port perhaps.

You get a lot when you purchase the EV900

The EV900 comes with all the connectors and wires you’d want or need. They even come with a very nice carrying case. Even with the excellent picture coming out of these goggles we wouldn’t recommend them. They are terribly uncomfortable and while flying I had to adjust them on multiple occasions in order to be able to see the screen. It really is a shame as these could have been really nice FPV goggles at a decent price. Hopefully, Eachine fixes the fitment issues and releases these goggles. If they do we’ll be first in line.
