FreeFlight Pro is a dedicated app for piloting Parrot Bebop, Bebop 2 and Disco drones. The interface was designed for use with FPV glasses and allows you to enjoy total immersion.
All your routes, photos, films and data are saved on the app. You can find them easily and share your impressive adventures with friends and family.
With FreeFlight Pro, you can also access Flight Plan, an in-app purchase that helps you create autonomous flight plans (altitude, speed, camera angle, etc.). Simply map out your flight using waypoints, hit takeoff, and watch your drone do the rest!
Tips for getting started
- Before takeoff, be sure to update your Bebop 2's software and fully charge its battery. For double the flight time and twice the fun, pick up an extra battery with your purchase.

First flight went up about 30 feet, and lost connection to the skycontroler. Would not enable connection. Had to wait 30minutes for the battery to die and fall out of the sky. This is my second Bebop drone as I upgraded from the Bebop 1, and both had issues....will be returning and giving it one more shot, if that one has similar issues will be checking into DJI Drones.
Update on my last review. I received my replacement from Amazon, and configured EVERYTHING prior to flight. The drone is set to go up 300 feet, I got 36 by the apps tracking on my iPhone and lost connection, this time however it did "return home". However this happens every time I break 30 feet in the air. I can do much further away from the controller and phone as long as it stays below 30 feet up....but when you want to get images high up as this has video and a camera....staying below 30 feet is rather pointless.
I took it to the park today by my home (two blocks walking distance) took it right up in the air using only the sky controller, and same issue lost connection. It did come back and regain, and I took it all over. Flies great when it stays connected, banked turns is awesome had a good time. Walked home and flew it the entire way. go to the front of my house and attempted to check its connectivity again, and once again lost connection. What happened next was not what I expected. The drone stayed in the air for the 60 seconds I have listed before "returning home", but this drone took off and flew itself back to the park through trees and everything. I raced to the park to find the drone had landed safely (covered in grass stains on the white parts but in one piece so I am glad about that at least).Read more ›
